Sound a pretty simple on paper, but in doing these tasks there’s a whole lot more to it.
Folks may think: wash walls? Why do that? Well, for one thing they’re another surface for germs and dirt to inhabit, and transfer them to whoever comes in contact with that surface. Plus, you’d be amazed at the amount of dirt, oils and grime we see when we give a wall a good once over. Especially kitchen walls. Food grease from cooking day in and day out tends to accumulate so slowly that it’s barely noticed. However, once we get a kitchen wall super clean—or any room for that matter, it truly is noticeably improved. One would think, doesn’t gravity keep germs off the walls? Well, no. We like to say: a clean wall is a healthy, happy wall.
Floors. There’s a place where gravity really kicks in. A place where visible dirt, dust and whatever else falls off the kitchen table tends to get ground in. Unlike walls, floor dirt is noticeable. And we clean not just where you see dirt, but we get down to business when it comes to floors. We clean under every appliance, under and around every piece of furniture in every room. Simply put, dirt sees us coming and it gets scared!
Folks like to see floors clean AND shiny. They like to see carpets clean and fluffed up to the point where it’s so nice, you don’t want to ruin the look by walking on it! In addition to looking clean, we make sure carpets smell clean too. Then after we do the cleaning, we add the final touch of organizing the space to make it even more pleasant, more inviting. The bottom line is we understand dirt and exactly how to get rid of it.
Which brings us to windows. Folks love clean, streak-free windows to bring the sunlight in, or just to gaze outside to the point of actually wondering if there is a window there at all. Now that’s a clean window! And it’s not often easy to get to the entire inside and outside of the window. We do have limits. In other words, if the outside of a window on the 2nd or third floor is hard to reach without a ladder, well, that’s where we draw the line. Pop-out windows–on the other hand–are not a problem at all for inside/outside cleaning.
